BC Winter Games
The BC Games are the premier multi-sport event for young athletes in British Columbia, with over 2,700 athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials participating in the festivities. As the official merchandise provider for the Greater Vernon 2022/2023 BC Winter Games, we created multiple lines of apparel and accessories to celebrate the achievements of the athletes, as well as designing and providing the volunteer and executive apparel for over 1,400 volunteers and officials.
The BC Winter Games gave us the opportunity to develop multiple different angles to support the event and its participants. We created several different lines of apparel merchandise, from comfortable and colorful sweatshirts and t-shirts, to premium custom decorated lululemon pieces. We also welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with indigenous artist David Wilson on the Sookinakin Line, incorporating his pictograms into a limited edition line of sublimated apparel that celebrated the shared heritage of all young British Columbians. We were proud to provide apparel for the volunteers and executive board members as well, helping to thank them for the hard work and enthusiasm they put in to making the games a success.
We implemented several methods of harnessing the excitement of the participants, including setting up our Online Custom Stores for pre- and post-event online merchandise sales, as well as in-person merchandise booths at multiple venues during the games where excited participants could celebrate their achievements together. We are deeply proud of our partnership with the BC Winter Games and were delighted to be part of their mission of celebrating the young athletes of British Columbia.
