History
vbs apparel was established in 1999 and operated as Volleyball Stuff, a volleyball clothing and equipment retail company based out of Calgary, AB. The proshop serviced the Calgary volleyball community out of the Volleydome for 22 years, and fulfilled the need for a company that specialized in volleyball specific apparel, gear, and equipment. In 2011, Volleyball Stuff opened a new proshop location in Coquitlam, BC while continuing operations in Calgary.
Fast forward to 2020, in the height of the pandemic, sports were cancelled and the world was in lockdown. Volleyball Stuff pivoted to create a solution in the healthcare community through its sister company, Lubdub Apparel. Lubdub Apparel and the Volleyball Stuff team worked closely throughout the pandemic, servicing the healthcare and sports communities. Volleyball Stuff continued to explore new areas outside of the sport of volleyball and built new relationships that exist to this day.
During this time, Volleyball Stuff grew to be a multi-sport brand servicing schools, teams, and businesses across Canada. Volleyball Stuff has since rebranded as vbs apparel, a team of over 30 people and a company with a desire to find solutions to problems.
