We recently sat down with our CEO Sanjiv Jasra, to talk a little about how the vbs apparel and lululemon collaboration came about. He stressed that it wasn’t just the good luck of making a connection at the right time—it was also a matter of being willing to help. In 2018, at one of our first Volleyball Canada Youth Nationals, our CFO Ryan stepped in to assist the staff at the lululemon booth with their custom decoration in a pinch. The relationship grew from there! We’ve been proud to be a partner with them since 2019, helping to promote their mission of active living across Canada. Since then, we’ve supplied hundreds of youth athletic programs across Canada with lululemon apparel to help inspire their excellence in sport.
Is the lululemon gear for teenagers only? What about the coaches?
Our partnership allows us to provide decorated lululemon apparel to youth athletic programs only, but that doesn’t mean we leave the adult support staff out in the cold. For qualifying youth athletics programs, coaches, teachers, and staff are also eligible to be outfitted in premium lululemon gear. We’ll customize a curated selection of sleek decorated lululemon apparel specifically for coaching or school staff, so that they fit the same look while still standing out at a glance, whether they’re on the sidelines or in the classroom.
What lululemon products can you decorate for us?
The sky is (almost) the limit! We keep a selection of the most popular lululemon pieces in stock and ready to customize for your team. Some of our most sought-after products are the Swiftly Tech shirts and Hotty Hot shorts for women, or the Metal Vent Tech shirts and City Sweat Joggers for men. Wunder Train tights or Align™ leggings are on the menu, as well as Scuba hoodies. There’s the small caveat that our lululemon selection is subject to availability, but if there’s a lululemon product that you love, just ask us!
